大家知道curtain是指家里的窗帘，拉开后阳光洒满房子，拉上之后就充满了神秘感。
不过， Curtain是窗帘，但It’s curtains for me可不是“给我的窗帘”！为啥呢？咱们来看看！

1）It’s curtains for me.虽然大家知道curtain常常指窗帘或床幔，但是它也可以表示幕布或帷幕哦！
因此， it’s curtains for me其实是指，对我来讲，我的帷幕已经落下来了，我的表演结束了。
所以，这个词组的常指处于绝望的处境，通俗点说就是要完蛋了。

2）Raise the curtain小伙伴们已经知道curtain表示幕布或帷幕，如果curtain falls代表结束或完蛋的话，那么raise the curtain就很容易理解了。
Raise the curtain means to begin or start something ，也就是指“升起或拉起幕布” ，开始做某事的意思；
当然，拉开幕布之后，大家都知道幕布之后是什么了，所以这个词组也表示公之于众的意思。

3）Curtain lecture第三个词组非常有意思， lecture可以指演讲或讲课，但在这里却是指训斥或谴责。
英语解释：A wife's reprimands（训斥） to her husband, conducted in private ，也就是一个妻子对丈夫的训斥，通常是私下进行的。
因此， Curtain lecture是指在床帷之下的教训，枕边训话，也就是“妻子给丈夫好好上了一课” 。
比如下面英语例句中的夫妻：
