Are there any parks or public gardens at where you live?
Yes, there are actually several parks being built at the place where I live. Given the fact that our local government has been trying hard to provide its residents with better living conditions, we’d probably be able to enjoy ourselves at those newly built parks at the end of this year.
What do you often do in a park?
Well, I often go strolling after dinner with my family members. We’d usually spend an hour or so walking around the beautiful trees and enjoying the lovely sunset in view.
When do people often go to parks?
I guess most people often go to parks in the afternoon, when the sunshine is at its best of the day. They’d usually go there with several good friends, have some nice tea, and spend the whole afternoon chatting and laughing about their past stories.
Do you think parks or public gardens are important to cities?
Yes, I think parks or public gardens play a significant role in keeping cities suitable places for people to live in. With great plantation, parks provide people with fresh air they don’t usually get to enjoy in their daily busy life. Parks are also good places for people to visit on their days off.

Who you do it with
Why you enjoy doing it with this person
I enjoy spending time with my maternal grandmother. She is eighty and has an opinion on anything and everything. My grandma is an energetic person. She has some age-related problems but she gets about more than my mother or me. Actually, there are hardly any temples in South India that she hasn’t been to. She is fluent in most South Indian languages and also possesses a working knowledge of Sanskrit. I visit my grandmother at least once a month. When we were kids, we used to spend the weekends at her place and then she would tell us numerous stories from Hindu mythology and keep in entertained for hours on end. Actually, if I am deeply religious today, that is because of her. She also visits us very often, and whenever she does she makes it a point to bring us lots of gifts and other goodies. She is a generous woman who enjoys giving food and money to the needy. The reason that I enjoy spending time with her is that she has a positive attitude towards anything. Actually I have never seen her looking depressed or hopeless. She is great fun to be with.

When I was five years old, I had an accident and was admitted in the hospital. I was required to stay in bed for at least two months. Days in the patient ward wasn’t as dull as I expected it to be. Actually the first week was quite fun. I could watch TV in bed and chat with my fellow “roommates” and my family visited me everyday.
But after a while, the hospital gradually started to lose its charm. I was getting bored when my Dad showed up. With a hat in his hand, he started to perform magic tricks. Out of thin air, he produced a flower and put it in the hat. Guess what happened next? He made a magic cube from the hat.
【雅思口语public garden and park】I was immediately in love with the magic cube. Time seemed to go much faster when my Dad taught me how to play it. Before I knew it, I was running around again. Till this day I play it on a daily basis. It always reminds me of my special bonding time with my Dad.
