解析：这类题型的主要特点是：要点明确，范围具体，贴近生活，易于动笔。此类试题中有较多的文字说明，实际上规定了考生表述的思路，对考生的写作范围作了较为明确的限定，试题中规定的要点一个也不能回避。由于这一类试题包括较多的文字说明，容易改变书面表达的性质。考生极易受中文提纲的制约，将书面表达变成了翻译，造成语法结构和语汇上的单调。提纲类书面表达在体裁上，一般以说明文和议论文为主，要求考生根据提纲说明某种情况或辩论某种观点。提纲类书面表达有时也可能是记叙文。
答题策略：
1.对于这类试题的处理，考生首先要认真阅读前面的提示，把握准情景和要求，使表达的内容不走题；
2.根据情景的发展，按顺序安排好材料，
3.考生可以充分发挥自己的思维想像力，灵活运用英语知识，采用不同的表达方式将试题要求的要点完整地表述出来，力求准确，简洁，礼貌，规范。最后，进行合理的总结。

近几年来，看图作文在高考书面表达中占有相当大的比例。它是一种检查学生观察理解能力及运用语言能力的题型。它不仅考查考生对图形的观察力和想像力，而且也考查考生的分析，概括和组织材料的能力。想象空间大，因此难度也大。
经典范例：(2006辽宁卷)
下面四幅图片描述的是李明和爷爷从养鸟到放鸟的一段经历。请根据图片所提供的信息以第三人称用英语写一篇短文。注意：①短文必须包括所有图片的主要内容，短文的内容要连贯、完整；②短文单词数：100左右(开头已给出的单词不计入单词总数) 。
解析：这类题型的主要特点是：形象，直观，内容具体，且在图画的前面一般还有文字说明，题材仍以贴近现实生活为主，因此考生一般都有话可写，且不会走题。此类题型的体裁比较广泛，可以是记叙文，将图画中所表达的信息完整地记录下来；也可以是说明文，根据图画从时间，过程，步骤等方面对之加以解释，说明；还可以是议论文，针对图画中所表现出来的一般现象，加以议论，得出结论，提出解决问题的最佳办法。
答题策略：
1.针对此类题型，考生应仔细阅读图画及文字说明，首先应确定文章体裁。这类文章一般以记叙文或说明文为主。
记叙文：要抓住记叙文的六要素：时间(when)，地点(where)，人物(who)，事件(what)，原因(why)和过程(how) 。即：五个“w”和一个“h” 。
说明文：一般先要把图画联系起来，弄清楚图画的目的，意图；然后进行抽象概括，找出一个说明对象，接着根据图画从时间，过程，步骤等方面加以解释，说明；最后进行总结，得出结论。对事物进行说明时，一定要做到条理清楚，明了易懂。
议论文：议论文的写作要点是：a.观点鲜明，文章一定有一个明确的中心论点。b.层次分明，一个中心论点通常有几个分论点支持，不同层次之间要分明，过渡清晰自然。c.最后一段一般要总结全文，得出一个符合逻辑的结论，突出中心思想。d.一般采用一般现在时。e.语言简洁有力，一般不采用口语。
2.确定人称。如果以日记，回忆录等形式来写，一般采用第一人称；如果是以讲故事的形式来写，则一般采用第三人称来写比较方便。但不管用哪种人称，全文都必须一致。
3.确定时态。根据图画内容及所采用的文章体裁，确定文章所要用的时态。切记全文时态的一致性。
4.发挥联想要合理，适度。这类文章的说明一般都要求考生做适度的联想和发挥，以便使上下文能更好的连贯起来。但联想和发挥一定要根据图画做到合情合理，不能过多地胡乱联想和发挥。
5.虚实结合，详略得当。对于图画中的内容，该详细叙述描写的，就必须要详细，具体；可以一笔带过的就一笔带过。比如图画中所有的时间，数字或言论须一词不漏地写清楚，而有些过程或原因则可适当简略。
-图表式作文
图表类书面表达在近年的高考中时有出现，，主要是一些关于生产，销售，发展进程等各种项目统计的示意图。这类统计图在日常生活中应用得非常广泛，因此，这类题能很好地与生活结合起来，具有很强的实际意义。
某学校对中学生课余活动进行了调查，结果如下。请根据图表1提供的信息描述学生每天的课余活动，并针对图表2中任何一个数据中反映的情况写出你的一个看法。词数不少于60 。生词：图表chart
解析：图表式书面表达常以曲线图形式，流程图形式，柱星图形式，饼式图形式，数据表格形式及平面图解形式出现。这类题型具有文字少，信息少，要点分散等特征。我们在写作时只有在看懂图示的基础上才能动笔写。如果不能全部领会图表信息，写作中就会出现遗漏信息，分析不准确等一系列问题。
从图表作文的内容和要求来看，主要是介绍或说明某方面的情况，文体上属于说明文。因此，考生应按照说明文的形式和特点来进行写作。
答题策略：
